Responsible for designing an intuitive and attractive interface for Tajonline.com and related features, tools and processes.
Work alongside the Technology team to implement the design into the overall user experience. |
Job Description : |

1. Creating design concepts and prototypes for new and existing user interfaces. Concept Visualization, Designing wire frames.
2. Collaborating with the Technology team to implement designs
3. Mediate between the Marketing and Technology teams on matters of user experience
4. Design projects related to improving usability
5. Coordinate and facilitate usability to validate existing and future feature design
6. Understand and work within dynamic timelines
7. Be flexible with changing requirements and feedback.
8. Creating GUI(Web Page Layout, Site Navigation) and Creating Interactive Flash Banner, Image Banner.
9. Designing and preparing layout for the Newsletter/Emailer /EdMs.
Design Requirements:
1. Excellent "conceptual" design skills, be able to "design on the fly".
2. Ability to take spoken and written requirements and create Interaction Designs and User Interfaces from these requirements.
3. Excellent layout skills. Know proper usage of white space, contrast, consistency, precedence, and design principles.
Technical Requirements:
1. Advanced Experience with Design applications Photoshop, DreamWeaver, CorelDraw, Flash or
similar experience to do mockup web pages
2. Should have knowledge of Accessibility, W3C, Web 2.0 standards and page validations with standards-
compliant cross browser.
3. JavaScript: (Intermediate to Advanced level); ability to hand code simple JS, and repurpose complex
JS libraries.
4. CSS - Advanced knowledge
5. Extensively worked on Photoshop,HTML, XHTML and CSS (Both Div based and Table based layouts)
6. The candidate should be cognizant of the latest trends in UI, i.e. AJAX/Web 2.0.
7. Basic Knowledge of Wordpres,Joomla and Drupal will be an advantage. 8. A strong exposure to the technology/ concepts behind social networks 9. Experience with JavaScript and PHP
Education and Qualifications
Graduate with certification in web development and graphics.
Diploma, degree or certificate in multimedia design and web design. |
Experience : 5 years and above
